With two dual meet victories, a win at the Milwaukee School of Engineering Invitational and the only blemish being a one-point, tie-breaker loss to Coe in mid-November, the Central wrestling team has jolted off the blocks in quick fashion. Their performance on the mats has earned them a No. 13-ranking in the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III poll. Though ecstatic about how the guys have started the season, Coach Eric Van Kley says there is still a lot of work to do before bigger tournaments and meets down the road. Not having wrestled since December 10, Central will get back to work this Friday at home in a triangular meet against the Ozarks of Arkansas, and Davenport University in Michigan.
