Finally getting back into the win column after a tough week coming out of the holiday break, the PCM Mustang girl’s squad can continue to attempt to get back on track against the Hawks of South Hamilton at home tonight in a girl/boy doubleheader.

Junior guard Kayla Jennings continues to emerge as a scoring threat for the Mustangs as her 20 point performance earlier in the week raises her average to 12 points per game. The one win Hawks have struggled to find the bottom of the net this season, which plays well into the hands of a Mustang squad that prides itself on its defensive prowess. The Mustang boys come limping in on a down streak having lost their last two games and will have to deal with Junior Collin Hill for the Hawks, who is the rare player that can keep up with PCM’s Logan Gilman in scoring, as Hill averages 19 points per game. PCM Head Coach Fred Lorenson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that any team in the Heart of Iowa provides a challenge, and the Mustangs “A” game will be necessary for them to pull out a victory. The games can be heard live on KNIAKRLS.com via the KNIA2 stream, with the broadcast starting at 5:45, tip off at 6.
