Both PCM Basketball squads will return to action tonight against CMB in a home doubleheader, and both squads will have the chance to complete the season sweep over the Raiders.

The girls have lost two of three, but both of those losses came to class 3A schools Pella and Fairfield. Discounting those, the girls are on a hot streak having won their last three Heart of Iowa Conference games winning by an average of 11 points per game. Kayla Jenning continues to grow as a scorer, and has raised her scoring average to over 10 points per game. The boys dispatched CMB earlier in the season 64-50 behind 27 Logan Gilman points, including 5 of 5 from downtown. Gilman has not been the only scoring option for the Mustangs as of late, as Luke Greiner and freshman forward Andrew Van Ryswyk have combined to score over 24 points per game the last three contests. Despite the victory earlier in the season, longtime PCM Head Coach Fred Lorensen tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that no Heart of Iowa Conference game is easy at this point of the season. The Lady Mustangs will tip off at 6, the boys at 7:30 and full results of the contest can be found on KNIAKRLS.com
