Both PCM Girls and Boys Basketball would complete the season sweep over the CMB Raiders last night, the girls winning in yet another strong defensive effort 42-27, and the boys with a big second half winning 54-43.

Kayla Jennings would lead the team with 16 points and six steals, and Katie Vandewall had a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds. With the win the girls are now on a four game Heart of Iowa win streak, and have held opponents to 30 points or under for now the sixth game this season. PCM Head Girls Basketball Coach Jeff Lindsey tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that he thought his team made great adjustments defensively throughout the game. The Lady Mustangs are now 10-7 on the season.

The boys would start slow en route to a 27-20 halftime deficit, but absolutely blow out the Raiders in half number two outscoring them 34-16. Logan Gilman would have 17, while Elijah Sperfslage contributed 12 all from beyond the arc. The win brings the Mustangs to 11-5, and both squads next hit the court this Friday in a doubleheader at North Polk which can be heard live on KNIAKRLS.com
