The Little Dutch Bowlers continue their roll towards the postseason after another meet victory on Saturday.

Pella High’s boys beat Newton 2769-2514 to move to 7-0 on the season. Head Coach Mike Norman tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his guys were as focused as they have been all year, which allowed them to fend off a solid Cardinals squad.

Alex Bragg had the team high best game at 226, and Jaden Ruth had the team high series with 388. The group’s first round score was the highest of the year at 1858.

The shorthanded girls posted their highest score of the season, but fell to the Cardinals 2214-1444. Kirsten Veenstra had the team high series at 289, which was also a personal best. Kaeleigh DeWaard was three pins shy of her personal best series with a 258.

The Pella bowlers will finish the regular season Saturday at home against Norwalk.
