A whopping 554-pin margin was the difference between Pella High’s boys’ bowling team and Centerville this past Saturday. The Dutch rolled a 2,440 to take down the Big Red. Cameron Miller had a game-high 202, and Alex Bragg recorded the team’s best series with a 389, also a personal best. The shorthanded Lady Dutch fell to Centerville, 1445 – 1086. Kaeleigh DeWaard shot a 158 for the high game, and Taylor Divelbiss put up a 271 series.
PC’s girls were just short of Oskaloosa in their meet, 1949 – 1816. Roseanne Meinders’ series was best for the Eagles at 304, and not too far behind was Julyn Holmes with a 283. The Eagle boys dropped 2179 – 1881, and were led by Noah Gritters’ 269 series.
