After tonight both Pleasantville girls and boys basketball squads will have a clearer definition of where they stand in the Pride of Iowa conference as they will host the storied Nodaway Valley Wolverines at home in a girl/boy doubleheader.

The girls are coming off a rough road trip to Central Decatur and are currently on a three game losing streak, but will look to right the ship. Head Coach Aaron Fichter said that if his team can stay mentally focused and play for four straight quarters his team can be competitive. On the boys side they are coming off a huge upset win at Central Decatur which could propel the team forward. Pleasantville Head Coach Joel Allman told KNIA/KRLS Sports that he think that his team learned from their loss to the Cardinals earlier in the season, and used that knowledge to be more competitive with the better teams in their conference. The Trojans will need all that experience to stop Jackson Lamb of the Wolverines, who averages 27 points per game. The girls will tip off at 6:30 and the boys at 8, and both games can be heard live on KNIAKRLS.com via the KNIA3 stream with Andrew Swadner on the call.
