Both girls and boys Trojan basketball squads will start the first of three games this week traveling to Albia for a doubleheader.

The Lady Trojans lost a heartbreaker to Southwest Valley last Friday night, but would fall and bring their loss streak to seven games and will have their hands full with the tough Lady Dee’s. Kelsee Van Haalen has stepped up her scoring as of late, dropping 17 in the loss to the Timberwolves, and Bailey Oliva has started to own the boards for the Trojans, as she put in a double double. The Boys are currently riding high after their undefeated week, but a tough matchup comes in the form of Blake Bayer for the Blue Demons who averages nearly 20 points per game.
