The Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad looks to reverse a three game losing streak when the Sabers get back to action on Tuesday against Iowa Christian. The Sabers have been getting great contributions from Cam Arkema who is averaging over 19 points per game and has 22 assists on the season. While Arkema has gotten most of the attention from the Sabers’ opponents, that has created a problem. Coach Alan Stewart tells KNIA/KRLS most of the opponents are resorting to junk defenses like a box-and-one to control Arkema’s scoring. Stewart says someone else needs to step up in those situations to force the other team to go to more of a conventional defense. Stewart says with the addition of Crozier and his size will add more to the offense and defensive sets the Sabers run.
