Time is running out to get tickets for the Knoxville Athletic Hall of Fame induction luncheon this Friday at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame. Jason Mesasamaker, Barry Reynolds, and the 1973 Cross Country Team will be enshrined at the event. Hall of Fame Committee Member Joe Cunningham tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the luncheon is one of the highlights of the day because the public gets to hear from the inductees and listen to stories from their high school days. Tickets are $15 at Iowa State Savings Bank in Knoxville and need to be purchased by Wednesday, no tickets will be sold at the door.
