Zeb Adreon’s monster 20 point game led the Pleasantville Trojan Boys to an upset victory and over reigning conference champions Central Decatur last night, 61-60. The girls dropped game one of the doubleheader 65-18.

The hot shooting Trojans got the start they wanted after regaining a fully healthy squad for the first time since the second week of the season, and knocked down 10 trey’s from beyond the arc. Adreon controlled the game on both ends, putting in and incredible defensive effort to go along with his scoring, and the Trojans were supplemented by Brady Elder scoring 18. The Trojans big win sets them up with a 4-2 conference record, and a 5-2 record overall. On the girls side Head Coach Aaron Fichter told KNIA/KRLS Sports that despite the lopsided score, he was glad he got to rotate in a lot of his players. Both Trojans squads will next play in a Pride of Iowa Conference home doubleheader against Nodaway Valley this Friday.
