In a game that was much closer than the Trojan boys basketball team wanted it to be against the one win Warhawks, the Trojans would eventually take care of business and put away Southeast Warren 61-50. The girls fell in game one of the doubleheader 45-37.

Brady Elder had nearly half of the Trojans points in a 30 point effort, including going 10 for 11 from the charity stripe. The Trojans had a 10 point lead at the end of the 3rd quarter, but the Warhawks would target Elder with a box and one defense that would take the wind out of the sails of the Trojans offense, and the Warhawk would trim the deficit to three at one point. But it would be too little, too late and the Trojans would walk away the victor. Head Coach Joel Allman said that games that you win can be a learning experience too. The Trojan girls once again had trouble finding the bottom of the net in their loss. They stuck with the tough Warhawks, but too many missed shots would doom the Trojans who are now on a 6 game losing streak. The Boys improve to 7-3, the girls are at 3-8 and both teams will next play on Friday at home vs Southwest Valley.
