The Twin Cedars Girls Basketball Squad lost its first round Bluegrass Conference Tournament game Saturday night to Iowa Christian 64-25. Shelby Denburger led the Sabers with 12 points. Twin Cedars plays at Moulton-Udell in a consolations game on Tuesday. The Melcher-Dallas girls also lost to Seymour 64-20, the Saints will play an opponent to be named later in a consolation round. The Twin Cedars boys played their arch-rivals from Marion County Melcher-Dallas Saturday night and won 69-38. The Sabers will take on Mormon Trail on Monday while the Saints will take on Moravia.
