Saturday will mark the beginning of the road to Wells Fargo Arena for our area class 1A and 2A wrestlers. Knoxville travels to Albia, which is arguably one of the toughest sectionals in the state with top ranked Albia. Also in attendance will be P-C-M, Chariton, Centerville, and Davis County. Panther 285 pound wrestler Brock Caviness, who is ranked third in the latest iawrestle.com standings, may also have one of the toughest individual sectionals to get through as he will have to likely beat top ranked Carter Isley of Albia, plus run across eighth ranked Ben Kincart of Davis County just to qualify for the district. Caviness tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his experience with several of the opponents he will see on Saturday has helped. Sectionals are scheduled to get underway at noon on Saturday. The top two individuals from each weight class will qualify for the district the following Saturday in Knoxville.
