Steve McCombs of Tracy has declared his intentions to run for Marion County Board of Supervisors.

McCombs is a lifelong resident of Marion County and has been an employee of the Marion County Engineer’s Office for 22 years. He has also been a member of the Marion County Sheriff’s Reserves for 11 years. Prior his county position, McCombs was employed at Pella Corp for 22 years. McCombs tells KNIA/KRLS News that he feels he would bring a lot to the position. He has extensive experience in county government, especially in two of the largest departments–roads and law enforcement. He adds that there is progress being made in county government, and that he would be honored to serve. As reported earlier by KNIA/KRLS, Supervisor Mark Raymie has declared his intention to seek reelection, and Supervisor Jim Kingery tells KNIA/KRLS News that he has no plans to run at this time.
