Roosevelt University edged Central’s men’s tennis team in the Tulip City on Saturday, 5 – 4. It’s the second straight match that’s finished 5 – 4 on the wrong side for Central, as the Dutch try to power through some early-season growth with a line-up that starts about five underclassmen each time out. Garret Taylor won both his singles and doubles matches, and Jacob Logan and C.J. Cliff grabbed wins at the No. 5 and 6 singles contests. The 3 – 3 Dutch men travel to St. Peter, Minnesota next weekend for duals against Gustavus Adolphus and Martin Luther.
