This winter’s “Tools for Your Future” Crop Fair at Vermeer is designed to help local growers deal with the ever-changing modern agriculture climate.

According to organizers with the Iowa Corn Growers Association (ICGA), this program will give local growers access to the knowledge and tools that can help them manage their bottom line in the face of volatile commodity markets, rising crop input costs and weather challenges.

It will be held Tuesday, February 16th at Vermeer Corporation Plant #2. Registration begins at 9:00 AM and the program runs from 9:30 to 1:00 PM with complimentary lunch served at noon. New this year is a special tour of the Vermeer Baler Plant following lunch.

Those who wish to attend are asked to RSVP by Thursday, February 11th. Contact Carrie Dodds at 515-326-5914 or email cdodds@iowacorn.org. For more information, contact the ISU Extension and Outreach Marion County office, email dmill@iastate.edu or call 641-842-2014.
