The Pella Christian basketball teams are hoping to smooth out a rough 2016 by taking a trip outside of the Little Hawkeye Conference against Knoxville for homecoming tonight.

The 8-8 boys have dropped four in a row against a gauntlet of a schedule in the Little Hawkeye Conference, and have only scored 70 points in a game three times in the calendar year before doing so in four of their first five this season. The Eagles hope to spark their offense behind Junior Levi Jungling, who was held to just seven points against Norwalk Monday.

The 6-11 girls have won two of their last three and want to keep building towards the playoffs against the Panthers. The Eagles are hoping to defend their home court in their final regular season home game that features an intriguing post matchup with RIcki Hall and Isabella Baugh.

Our coverage from Pella Christian High School is available both on 92.1 KRLS and AM 1320 FM 95.3 KNIA, with pregame beginning at 5:45.
