The Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad will embark on class 3A District play tonight in Chariton against Centerville in first round action. The Panthers earned the two seed against the Big Reds and the two teams have split their games this season with each team winning on the opponent’s home court. Panthers Coach Jeff Larson tells KNIA/KRLS one key to winning is getting off to better starts than they have in the last four games. Larson says fighting an uphill battle is never the way to go, and his team is well aware of that. Knoxville has lost its last four games to end the regular season at 11-10. The Panthers and Big Reds play the opening game in Chariton tonight and you can hear the play-by-play on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA at 6:10.
