The third installment this season is what is becoming a growing and contentious rivalry will happen tomorrow as Knoxville will take on Chariton in the class 3A Boys District final in Centerville. Chariton already has beaten Knoxville twice this season once in December by seven and the other time in January in overtime by just a single point. Both games the Panthers say they could have won. To get that coveted win senior post player Nick Moats tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he has to do his job in containing Chariton’s star player T-J Hockenson. Meanwhile junior guard Blake McClung tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the last time the Panthers and Chargers met, Chariton got nearly all of its scoring from its top three players, which McClung says cannot happen this time around. A win would send the Panthers into their first sub state appearance since 2005. You can hear the play-by-play on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA tomorrow night at 6:40.
