The Knoxville Girls Basketball game last night with Norwalk could be summed up in two words, miss opportunities. The Panthers turned the Warriors over 25 times, but could not take advantage in a 55-49 double overtime loss to Norwalk that ended the Panthers season in class 4A regional. Knoxville forced overtime when Kendrea Richardson scored six fourth quarter points, but foul trouble got the Panthers’ rotation off. Coach Jim Uitermarkt told KNIA/KRLS the slow start and foul trouble along with the missed opportunities contributed to the loss. Richardson scored 15 points to lead Knoxville who finishes the season at 13-9.
