Having a better day than expected the Knoxville Wrestling Squad put six grapplers into the district this Saturday with four being crowed sectional champions in class 2A in Albia.The Panthers will send Joe Hollinrake, Michael Ullestad, Cameron Brown, Jordan Beal, Travis Poffenbarger, and Brock Caviness to the district. Knoxville also finished second as a team and qualifies for the team regional on Tuesday. Coach Doug Hatch was very pleased with his team’s effort on the day. Not to be outdone was P-C-M who qualified seven wrestlers to the district this Saturday. Jakeb Fenton, Clay VanWyk, Chance Palm, Lucas Roland, Xavier Miller, Wes Cunnings, and Jarron Trausch also made it to Saturday’s meet. The Mustangs finished third as a team. The class 2A individual district will be in Knoxville this Saturday and will get underway at noon.
