Making up a doubleheader from a few weeks ago, the Pella High girls’ and boys’ basketball teams recorded yet another sweep this past Saturday, this time at A-D-M. The Lady Dutch went to overtime but prevailed, 45 – 41. Emily Holterhaus, the freshman, scored 18 points, had nine rebounds, and went 4-for-4 at the free throw line in the extra period. Kiara Bradley added ten points, and Khloe Van Vliet put in nine. The Little Dutch pounded the Tigers, 93 – 59; Ryan Van Wyk led the way with 17, Will Warner scored 12, and both Nick Finney and Payson Vande Lune scored 11 each. The Lady Dutch are now sitting with a 15 – 2 record, the boys are 15 – 1, and if the snow holds off, they both host Knoxville next this Tuesday.
