Clearly over their overtime loss to North Polk last Friday night, the PCM Mustang girls basketball squad would get right back on track with a 45-36 win over the Saydel Eagles last night.

The boys would also continue their winning ways with a 54-41 victory. Kayla Jennings would continue her strong development into a leading scorer and drop 20 points as well as five rebounds and five steals, while Lexi Timmins contributed 8. The Lady Mustangs improve to 11-8 on the season. The boys would once again struggle in half number one to the one win Eagles, falling behind 32-28. The Mustangs defense would turn on in the second half holding Saydel to only nine points. Logan Gilman would lead the team with 24 points, and the Mustangs improve to 13-5. Both Mustangs squads have a quick turnaround and host Nevada tonight in a doubleheader.
