The PCM Boys basketball team shot 35% from beyond the arc this season, very respectable for a high school program.

However, for next season that number will have to improve because of the loss of senior forward Logan Gilman to graduation. Gilman would easily make and attempt the most three pointers on the team, making 42 trey’s and shot 40% from downtown to boost the Mustangs overall percentage. The team next year will have to rely on sharpshooter and incoming sophomore Andrew Van Ryswyk who shot an astonishing 42% from outside this past season, and sharpshooter Jackson Thomas who shot 50% in limited minutes. Those two young players have large boots to fill for a team that at times struggled to score from outside, but if recent history means anything it is that Coach Fred Lorensen will get the team ready to go.
