This season was a learning year for the PCM Mustang girls basketball team, a learning year that brought with it plenty of experience as well as plenty of success, a 13-10 record and a postseason win.

The Mustangs would be in the first season of new head coach Jeff Lindsay, and while simultaneously learning a new offense the Mustangs would clamp down and have a defensive identity for the first half of the season before their offense started to come along in the second half. The adjustments the Mustangs made in the second half offensively was due in large part to the development of their offensive players. The Mustangs top seven scorers on this years squad were all juniors, some of which with not a lot of varsity experience.

The Mustangs will have that offensive prowess to go along with the experience of varsity returning players in their senior campaigns Kayla Jennings, Katie Vandewall, Jayce Vos, Kaylee Townsend, Lexi Timmins, Rachel Stafford and Bailey Broderson. The wealth of experience and team synergy will bring with it higher expectations than ever for the Mustangs for next season.
