The PCM High School Wrestling program would send four wrestlers to the state tournament this past weekend, and outside of junior grappler Xavier Miller three wrestlers would be in their first year of high school let alone their first year of varsity wrestling.

Lucas Roland at 138lbs, Wes Cummings at 152lbs, and Jarron Trausch at 170lbs are all freshmen wrestlers with long careers ahead of them. The three combined for 117 wins, with only 16 losses and the young grapplers would gain valuable experience that will only benefit them as they grow. Roland would be the lone PCM wrestler to make it to day three at Wells Fargo Arena, where he would place 7th. A full recap of the PCM Wrestling season will be heard on the Knoxville Hyvee Radio Coaches Corner in the coming weeks.
