Class 1A’s top-scoring offense was halted by Pella Christian’s boys last night, as the Eagles topped previously unbeaten Grand View Christian on the hardwood, 55 – 49. The Thunder entered scoring over 83 points per game, but their biggest offensive quarter was just 17 put up in the second. Levi Jungling scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds, Caleb Roose and Kenden Veenstra had eight points, and Jeremy Van Beek contributed six. The Eagles end the regular season with a three-game winning streak and a 12 – 9 record. They begin district tournament play this Monday at home versus Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont.
