Pella controlled everything from start to finish in its 82-38 win over Knoxville last night in girls basketball. The Lady Dutch went on a 12-2 run when the games was tied at five to stretch the lead and eventually would get up by 30 in the first half. Coach Jim Utiermarkt told KNIA/KRLS Sports Pella’s transition game hurt the most. Carrie Chambers led the Panthers with 14 points while Emily Holterhaus led a balanced Pella attack with 18. Pella is now 17-2 on the season while Knoxville falls to 13-6. Pella travels to Newton tonight while Knoxville is home to Dallas Center-Grimes.
