Looking to make up for a lost night in their first games of 2016, both Simpson Storm Basketball squads will attempt to avoid the season sweep from Buena Vista at home tonight.

The women would fall 74-62 to BV getting outscored on second chance points 17-5 and get outrebounded, have more turnovers and less bench points. The women will look to use their home court to their advantage, as they sport a 7-2 record on their home hardwood. The Men will also look to avenge an 89-77 defeat, Sam Amsbaugh would start his torrid conference season with 27 points but it was not enough to overcome 35 points from BV guard Nick Clark and 22 points from forward Kennedy Drey. The Storm’s normally dependable defense failed them last Saturday against Coe giving up 87 points and for the Storm to pull off the victory they will have to solve those issues. The women tip off at 6, the men at 8, and full results of the contest can be found on KNIAKRLS.com
