The Simpson Storm Basketball Squads, looking to overcome an early season sweep at the hand of the Beavers would return the favor, the women winning 71-64 and the men winning 74-67.

The Women were blistering hot from outside, shooting 9-19 from beyond the arc and 20-24 from the charity stripe while outrebounding the Beavers 49-35. The Storm women improve to 15-9 and 8-5 in the Iowa Conference, and while an Iowa Conference Tournament spot has already been locked up, seeding is still an issue as the Storm have one more conference game remaining. The Men used their defensive style of ball to blow out Buena Vista. Leading scorer Sam Amsbaugh was limited to just four points, but four other Storm players would get into double figures lead by Dillon Gretzky with 14. The Storm Men match the girls at 15-9 and 8-5 in the IIAC and have the second seed in the upcoming Iowa Conference tournament for now. Both Storm squads round out their regular season at Loras this Saturday.
