A rescheduled against the Roadrunners of I-35 was not kind to the Pleasantville Trojans last night, as both Trojan Girls and Boys Basketball Squads would drop 64-38 and 75-70 respectively.

On the girls side the Trojans played hard against the top of the conference Roadrunners, but the size and athleticism proved to be too much for the Trojans to handle. Kelsee Van Haalen would score 16, while Bailey Oliva would be right behind at 14 points. The Trojans girls fall to 5-13. The boys would have a halftime lead of eight points, but the defense would falter down the stretch in crunch time. The loss means a season split against the Roadrunners, and brings the Trojans record to 11-6. Both Trojans squads face a long road trip to Mount Ayr tonight in a game that can be heard live on KNIAKRLS.com via the KNIA3 stream. Tip off is scheduled for 6pm.
