A strong defensive effort would spur the Trojan girls toward their second win in a row, defeating the Southeast Warren Warhawks 34-26.

Scoring came at a premium for both squads, and the Trojans would rely on senior Bailey Oliva to carry them as she would lead the team with 10 points. Madyson Thill would contribute 9, and the Trojans will end their regular season on a two game winning streak and a record of 7-14. They will begin to prepare for postseason play beginning this Saturday at Martensdale-St Mary’s. The boys would also use their defensive prowess in a 71-46 win. Scores from up and down their roster would make for a Trojans blowout, as eight different Trojans would score more than six points. The Trojans boys are now 13-6, and still have one more regular season game to go until postseason play begins, a game tomorrow night at home against Colfax-Mingo which is also their third game in four days.
