The Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad will start their postseason journey tomorrow as they travel to Colo-NESCO to face Colfax-Mingo in the quarterfinal round of the class 1A district. The Sabers have been stressing all season team basketball. Coach Alan Stewart tells KNIA/KRLS Sports if they can play team ball against the Tiger-Hawks, he feels good about the game. He adds their district is loaded with some of the better teams in the region and nothing will be easy. The Sabers will play the early game at 6:30. A win would put the Sabers in a likely match up with one of those teams that Stewart mentioned with just one loss, Grandview Christian. The Sabers already have a loss to the Thunder in the Bluegrass Conference Tournament semi-finals.
