The Twin Cedars Girls Basketball Squad will have to take the long way to the state tournament this postseason as the Sabers travel to Sigourney for first round class 1A Regional action. The Sabers and Savages have already met once this season with Sigourney taking a 75-36 win. Coach Mark Bacus tells KNIA/KRLS Sports his team is a better team that earlier in the season when the two team met and hopes this team can go on a winning streak. Tipoff is scheduled for seven, the winner will play Tuesday in Marengo.
