While a one-and-19 season will not be celebrated at Melcher-Dallas this season for the girl’s basketball program, the leadership of seniors Megan Roush and Sydney Suntken was critical in the development and building of the younger players on the team. Coach John Suntken tells KNIA/KRLS Sports at times the coaching staff would let the two seniors have the floor in practice knowing the girls would be more receptive to their voice. Suntken hopes he has a few more girls to work with just to be able to do more in practice.
