Flag Day Celebrations at the Knoxville Public Library were held yesterday.

Dan Kaercher’s Amazing! Awesome Iowa!” taught the children about Iowa, the meaning behind the flag, it’s history, geography ,natural history, and some of the notable people and places of the state. A version of the program for adults Iowa’s Hidden Treasures informed and entertained on the topic on little known Iowa history.
