With a flurry of a finish, the Pella Christian boys’ basketball team ended the 2015-16 season with a third-place showing at the Class 2A state tournament last week. For their efforts in the Little Hawkeye Conference, the Eagles wound up with three players on the all-Conference team. Levi Jungling was picked to the first-team all-Conference. Jungling was first in scoring, averaging 19.5 points per game, and second in total rebounds, amassing 165 for the year. As the team’s point guard, the junior was fourth in assists with 90 overall, and was seventh in steals with 34. Senior Mitch Fopma and junior Graham Howerzyl both received honorable mentions. The Eagles finished the season with an 18 – 10 record.
