Unlike most schools, Melcher-Dallas does not have an all-weather track. So when the weather turns bad like middle portion of this week, the Saints have to improvise on their practices. Boys Coach Mike Hortsman tells KNIA/KRLS he has a few plan Bs if the track is not able to be utilized. Hortsman says he does not like to go inside very much like the gym or running the halls of the school. Hortsman also says weight training is also a part of their regimen.
