With two girls graduating and a monster seven girl junior class returning from the regular rotation from this season spots for newcomers will be an interesting battle for girls looking to receive their first amount of varsity time.

The seven girls returning from the main rotation will not have “guaranteed” playing time according to Head Coach Jeff Lindsay, but with those seven girls all playing a large amount of minutes it can be fairly assumed they will be a big part of the rotation this upcoming year. No team likes to go just seven deep, and this year’s squad was no exception with the two seniors garnering a decent amount of playing time, which leaves several spots open for competition. Coach Lindsay didn’t want to point out anyone specific he had in mind to take over those spots, just that he knows that the spots are going to be earned through not only their play, but through their commitment over the offseason and hard work in practice. The PCM Girls team had a record of 13-10 in the tough Heart of Iowa, and will look to expand on their one playoff win next season.
