A 7-11 record from a year ago, but with plenty of young talent coming through the ranks, the PCM Girls Soccer team has one area specifically that they need to improve upon if that record is going to find its way to the winning side, Defense.

Other than facing the tough competition of teams like Newton and Cedar Rapids Xavier, the Lady Mustangs actually only gave up an average of about three goals per game but will have to improve against the top teams if they want to continue their upswing. PCM can also rely on another year of experience for now sophomore goalkeeper McKeely Tjaden who started the majority of games in goal for the squad a year ago. PCM Girls Soccer opens their season on April 5th at Des Moines Hoover.
