Track and Field at Pella Christian High this spring will see just one head coach instead of the usual two. Keith Anderson, who was only the boys’ coach last year, is now the head man for the girls’ team, too. He says it has definitely been a switch for him, but he’s not handling the load on his own. The weather has also been exceptional for the end of winter as teams began practice earlier this month. Anderson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that they have been able to get outside and get onto the track. They have busted the hurdles out and the high jump mat so they can get ready for their first meet on March 29. The girls will be on the road to face Albia, Chariton, PCM, and Centerville, and the boys stay at home to host Davis County, Lynnville-Sully, Pleasantville, and Twin Cedars.
