When the Pella girls golf team hits the first tee box of the spring, a veteran group will do so with lofty expectations.

Two state qualifiers – 2015 16th place finisher Aanna Roslien and Camille Henry, who took 47th overall two years ago, will lead a roster of 15 girls in 2016.

Head Coach Mike Vint says he’ll lean on those two, as well as Kenzie Nossaman — a senior committed to play golf at Grandview, and Kate Van Roekel to help develop a young and talented bunch of underclassmen.

“We talked about making sure that they’re helping them anytime they can and answering questions that these younger kids have,” Vint tells KNIA/KRLS.

The Pella Lady Dutch golfers begin the competitive season March 31st against Lynnville Sully at the Pella Country Club.
