With Track and Field competitions drawing closer and closer, the Pleasantville Trojan Boys Track Team have a deep pool of talent to work with.

Pleasantville boy’s athletics have enjoyed a great deal of success the past year and a half, and spirits are at an all-time high. Head Boys Track Coach Gabe Bakker said that with that success comes a lot of kids ready to join in on that success, he tells KNIA/KRLS Sports about the huge numbers that have joined the team. With that many kids there will be plenty of opportunities for athletes to compete in the many meets throughout the year, and the team is looking forwards to making some noise as they are now bumped up to class 2A competition in the postseason. Pleasantville Boys Track starts their season off on March 29th at Pella Christian.
