With a plethora of athletes coming back this spring for the Pleasantville Trojan Track and Field Team no event may be as deep and return as much talent as the shot put and the discus.

The team will return it’s top five throwers in the shot put that includes very young talent Chaz Clark who lead the team as a freshman last season and will look to continue his development as a sophomore. Clark was a standout defensive end on the football team, and made the state tournament as a wrestler this winter. Also coming back in the shot put is Lucas Myers, Will Anthony and Gunnar Sampson. The discus also features its top throwers from last season, a list that includes top discus man Anthony, as well as Clark and Carter Cook. The Track team will start its season on March 29th at Pella Christian.
