The Iowa Conference announced their all-Academic team for winter sports yesterday, and Central had a total of six athletes honored on the list.

Central women’s basketball led the way with half of the honorees; junior Jessi Butters, sophomore Emily Dine, and junior Ashley Radig all carried at least a 3.55 GPA. Jacob Hay and Jordan Saddoris for the Dutch men’s hoops squad were also on the all-league team, along with Zach Moss of the Dutch wrestling program. A student-athlete must sport at least a 3.5 grade point average, be at least a sophomore, and compete at the varsity level to qualify for being honored.
