A season that ended in the championship game, the Pella High girls’ basketball team had six ladies named to the Little Hawkeye all-Conference team. Katie Vander Molen and Kiara Bradley were both selected to the first team. The tandem combined for nearly 26 points per game, and individually, both ranked second and fourth, respectively, as individuals in scoring in the league. Bradley had the second most rebounds in the conference, averaging 7.5 per game. Vander Molen was second in assists and third in steals. Ciara Buchheit and Chloe Van Vliet were each selected to the second team. Buchheit made the most three’s in the conference, and led in assists with 77. Van Vliet averaged eight points per game, and committed less than two turnovers per contest as a sophomore. Annika Pingel and Emily Holterhaus were both honorable mentions. The Lady Dutch finished runners-up in the Class 4A state tournament, and bring all of their starters, and all but two players back for next season.
