Officers with the Knoxville Police Department responded to the scene of an accident Monday night that resulted in the arrest of Jeffrey Duane Garbert of Ackworth.

Officer Joel Kimpston-Burkgren told KNIA/KRLS News a vehicle driven by Garbert ran a stop sign and struck the rear of another car at the corner of Iowa and Marion. Garbert is charged with driving while barred and operating while intoxicated 3rd offense, a Class D felony.
