Though no team scores were officially kept, Pella High’s boys’ track and field team looked very strong in the season’s first outdoor meet yesterday. Austin Hill and Chase Van Sant took first place in the shot put and long jump, respectively. Hill also took second in the discus. Michael Buma was the runner-up in the 110 high hurdles, and Blaise Winegardner came in third palce in the 3200. Pella High will rest today and get back to action with several area schools tomorrow in Knoxville at the Panther Relays.
