They fought hard, but the Central men’s tennis team came up a little short to Wartburg in their first Iowa Conference meet of the season yesterday in Waverly, 6 – 3. West Adelman and Jimmy Cunningham provided the spark at No. 1 doubles with an 8 – 4 victory, while Connor Barnard and CJ Cliff were victorious in the singles bouts in straight sets.
